What Can Parents Do:

Consistency is key to the success of implementing PBIS.
Read and discuss the Behavior Expectations Matrix found in the take home folders (K-1) or agendas (2-4).
Check your student's agenda or folder each night for Caught Bee-ing Tickets. Acknowledge expected behavior.
Review the Behavior Expectation Matrix with your child if he or she experiences behavior problems in school.
Work on a plan to help them with strategies for appropriate behaviors.
Support teacher and administrative behavior decisions.
Discuss problems privately with staff.
Remember that you are your student's first and most important role model.
